BISYS and Precision Information Team Up to Provide Retirement Saving Education

June 18, 2003 - Madison, Wis. - Investor education material developed by Precision Information (PI) is a key component of a new Web-based retirement planning tool recently launched by BISYS Retirement Services. The site, dubbed Retirement Central™, is designed to help financial services firms and retirement plan sponsors educate individuals on retirement planning and related investing.

PI developed 21 interactive educational tutorials for the Retirement Central site, covering such topics as investing basics and strategy, stocks, bonds and debt instruments, mutual funds, insurance and annuities, and estate planning. PI's investment learning center is one of a number of tools available on the Retirement Central site, including retirement planning advice and links that help users explore various retirement saving options.

In addition to developing the online learning material for BISYS, PI also will provide a series of feature articles on timely retirement planning topics.

These new ventures are part of a strategic alliance between the two companies, in which PI will leverage its experience in consumer-based financial education to help BISYS serve this market niche, and BISYS will promote and market PI's flagship product, The Encyclopedia of Personal Finance 2003™, and additional PI services to its client base of more than 15,000 companies sponsoring 401(k) plans. .

Christopher Guarino, president of BISYS Retirement Services, said, "Investor education is key to helping financial service firms build confidence among individual investors. In this uncertain economic climate, too many people are delaying saving for retirement because they're afraid of making costly mistakes. We believe the Retirement Central site will be an important tool for financial service firms and plan sponsors by helping individuals feel more confident in making solid investment decisions."

The strategic alliance with BISYS is expected to introduce PI's products to tens of thousands of new customers, said Joe Saari, PI's CEO. "This alliance will help us explore a robust new channel to the dramatically expanding market for investor education. BISYS' clients have come to expect effective products and services they can rely on, and we're very proud to be part of that mix," he said.
